Nvidia today released the second beta version of the Cg Compiler and Cg Toolkit for Cg, which support the OpenGL GL_ARB_vertex_program extension and let developers create shaders for both OpenGL 1.4 and DirectX. The new compiler also conforms to the DirectX syntax and command structure. Announced in June, Cg is a high-level programming language for creating real-time graphics effects. This new version of the compiler and toolkit, available now at http://developer.nvidia.com.
