Nvidia Rolling Out GeForce4 Tomorrow

Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said his company will announce the successor to the GeForce3 tomorrow, at an launch held in San Francisco.

No specs have been released about the forthcoming chip, also known as the NV25, though some have speculated that it will use six pixel processing pipeline, up from the four used by the GeForce3. Following the release of the new chip, the GeForce3 will become Nvidia's mid-range product, the GeForce2 will be the low-end chip, and the TNT2 will be phased out.
