Nvidia Steams Ahead, Posting Record Q3 Earnings, Revenues

Nvidia reported record revenues and earnings for fiscal Q3 (ending October 28), posting $370.2 million in revenues -- up 87% from $198.2 million last year.

The company's net income for the third quarter was also up sharply, to $44.7 million ($0.26 per share), up from $28.1 million ($0.17 per share) last year. "Our third quarter results exemplify our continued technology leadership and the intense focus and relentless execution of our employees," said Jen-Hsun Huang, president and CEO of Nvidia. "With the excellent success of leveraging the GeForce architecture into winning products for desktop PCs, laptops, workstations, Mac and Xbox, we now have multiple growth drivers that will accelerate our already strong momentum."
