GDC 2012 organizers have announced that online registration for the upcoming San Francisco show is now open, with discounted Early Bird pricing available until February 2. The show itself will take place March 5-9, 2012 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Now in its 26th year, GDC will continue as the premiere North American event for games industry professionals across all disciplines. Passes for GDC 2012 are available in six different variations in addition to the All-Access Pass, each offering content tailored to specific disciplines or themes. These specialized passes cover the Main Conference, Summits & Tutorials, Audio, and more. This year, GDC will offer a dedicated Independent Games Summit Pass, which, for a discounted price, grants access to all GDC Summits and tutorials, the Game Career Seminar, the IGF and Game Developers Choice Award Shows, and more. This pass is available in limited quantities, so order soon! Once the Early Bird discount for GDC passes expires on February 2, regular pricing will remain in effect until February 29, after which passes will only be available for purchase on-site. For a more detailed breakdown of any of the passes available for GDC 2012, please visit the event's official website.
