PBS has expanded its iPhone game lineup with the release of Mister Rogers Make a Journal for Preschoolers, an application that encourages emotional development in young children. Inspired by the television program Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Make a Journal for Preschoolers asks children to identify their emotional reactions to experiences in play, at home, and at school. Children may chart their feelings in one of five journal topics: Books, Mad Feelings, Playtime, Pretending, and School. Each journal can be saved and shared digitally, and may be personalized with drawing tools and virtual stickers to create a customized cover. An online version of Mister Rogers Make a Journal for Preschoolers is also available at pbskidsplay.org.
