Penny Arcade Now Accepting Applications for $10,000 Scholarship

Gaming webcomic Penny Arcade has opened submissions for its <a href="http://www.penny-arcade.com/pas/">annual scholarship</a> recognizing students planning to enter the gaming industry after graduation.

Gaming webcomic Penny Arcade has opened submissions for its annual scholarship recognizing students planning to enter the gaming industry after graduation. The Official 2010 Penny Arcade Scholarship will award $10,000 to a selected student who meets a set of requirements and weighted criteria in regards to leadership, service, character, and financial need. The scholarship is open to any student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States for the 2009-2010 school year. Applicants may major in any field, and must possess a grade point average of 3.3 or above. Last year's $10,000 scholarship went to student Kyla Gorman, who is currently pursuing a degree in game design at the University of Southern California. The application form is available here. Students have until May 30th to submit a completed application and all required material for scholarship consideration.
