pmG Worldwide, LLC today announced a lower-priced version of its character animation & rendering software. In a move designed to enable CG artists to take advantage of its tools, pmG introduces messiah:studio workstation. The suite includes character setup, animation, shading, and rendering tools. With this new product comes a re-branding of pmG's flagship animation & rendering package: messiah:studio professional. With its included plugin development tools, connectivity to custom and commercial software packages, and unlimited render nodes, messiah:studio professional is a production tool for feature and game development studios. Fori Owurowa, co-president of pmG Worldwide, commented: "Workstation rounds out our offerings. This new product offers greater choice and flexibility to studios of every size. The combination of workstation, professional, and messiah:animate allows production pipelines to be configured in a way that takes advantage of all software in a facility's toolset."
