The Tokyo-based CGI animation company and digital content creator Premium Agency announced that it will partner with Sony Computer Entertainment Asia and Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore to create the NYP Games Resource Centre, an educational facility dedicated to training in the field of game development. The facility, to be located in Singapore, will focus on development for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable platforms. The NYP Games Resource Centre will offer Singapore's first training program to include PS3 and PSP development kits in each classroom. Premium Agency will serve as Sony's training partner in the agreement. The company is currently training three future NYP Games Resource Centre instructors at its studio. The instructors will continue training until the end of June, after which they will transfer to Singapore as instructors at the Centre. Previously, Premium Agency offered a number of high-level training programs in computer graphics and animation, including the Digital Content Creation Camp 2008 in Hong Kong. The NYP Games Resource Centre will open in June of this year.
