Swedish project management software vendor Hansoft announced that its self-titled software is now being used by British developer Eurocom (James Bond 007: NightFire, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets). Sharing the same name as the company, Hansoft is used for managing tasks and collaboration on a day by day basis by programmers, artists, project mangers and producers. Hansoft is also used by executives for portfolio management and by clients and outsourcing partners to be closely involved in the production without having access to its all parts. "We believe tighter collaboration will be increasingly important but also more difficult. Hansofts integrated solution will leverage the growing teams to their full potential," commented Hansoft Managing director Patric Palm. “Eurocom has established a strong track record for time-critical projects and is actively recruiting for a number of exciting projects on next and current generation platforms,” explained Eurocom director Hugh Binns. “Hansoft's fast and easy state-of-the-art functionality strengthens our project management capabilities and enhances our studio efficiency. Our adoption of Hansoft is also demonstrates the increasingly intricate process of managing game projects”
