The "Question Of The Week" feature, a specific industry-related question to be answered by professional game developers and Gamasutra readers, discusses whether there can ever be a third major competitor to the two main handheld video game hardware companies. The new question, which can be answered at the official Question Of The Week page until January 17, is simply: "What hardware capabilities and software would be needed for a third company to create a competitive rival to the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, and which companies might be capable of doing so? Should they try?" As with the previous questions, the best responses will be compiled into an article to be published on the site, and users can either respond publically, with their name and company specifically cited, or anonymize their answers if they wish. [Please note that the remaining unpublished comments to our recent 'Game Of The Year' edition of Question Of The Week will be publishing tomorrow in a compendium feature.]
