RealNetworks announced that it is launching six new international RealArcade games sites, in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese.
The new international versions are supported by a number of ISPs and telecommunications companies with whom RealArade has partnered. These companies include Telstra (Australia), StarHub Internet (Singapore), Tiscali S.p.A. (Europe), and RBS (Brazil). RealNetworks says that over 4.5 million copies of RealArcade have been downloaded since it launched in May 2001, and more than 15 million games have been downloaded during that period.
