Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list. This week brings Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, Ys Seven, and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light to North America, while Japan gets A.C.E.: Another Century's Episode R. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending August 21st, 2010. Games Released in the United States: Nintendo Wii: - Gold's Gym Dance Workout Xbox 360: - Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days - Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (online) PlayStation 3: - Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days - Top Gun (online) Nintendo DS: - Deer Drive - Hidden Mysteries: Vampire Secrets PlayStation Portable: - Ys Seven PC: - City of Heroes: Going Rogue - Everquest II Extended (online) - House M.D. (online) - Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days Io Interactive's Kane & Lynch sequel Dog Days is set to hit the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms this week in North America. 360 owners will also get the downloadable Tomb Raider spinoff Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light as the PS3 receives the exclusive flight combat game Top Gun. Gold's Gym Dance Workout debuts as this week's sole Nintendo Wii release, while Falcom's action-RPG Ys Seven gets a North American release on the PSP courtesy of niche publisher Xseed. Games Released in Japan: PlayStation 3: - A.C.E.: Another Century's Episode R - Chou Jigen Game: Neptune PlayStation 2: - Shin Master of Monsters Final EX Nintendo DS: - Lilpri DS: Hime-Chen! Apple Pink - Minna de Taikan Dokusho DS: Cho-Kowai! Gakkou no Kaidan PlayStation Portable: - Lucky * Star: Ryouou Gakuen Outousai Portable - Shin Hisui no Shizuku: Hiiro no Kakera 2 Portable - Shin Master of Monsters Final EX Bandai's mecha anime crossover title A.C.E.: Another Century's Episode R headlines this week's console offerings in Japan. PS3 owners will additionally receive Idea Factory's strategy title Chou Jigen Game: Neptune, as the PlayStation 2 gets a new entry in SystemSoft's long-running Master of Monsters series. This week's Nintendo DS debuts include Sega's Lilpri DS: Hime-Chen! Apple Pink and Dorart's Minna de Taikan Dokusho DS: Cho-Kowai! Gakkou no Kaidan, while the PSP hosts Shin Hisui no Shizuku: Hiiro no Kakera 2 Portable and Lucky * Star: Ryouou Gakuen Outousai Portable.
