Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in an exclusively compiled list. This week brings the worldwide release of several anticipated titles, including Mirror's Edge, Call of Duty: World at War, and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. The World of Warcraft expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King highlights this week's PC lineup, while gamers in Japan prepare for Fuurai no Shiren DS 2. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending November 15th, 2008. Games Released in the United States:

Activision's Call of Duty: World at War premieres in the United States this week, arriving alongside awaited multiplatform titles like Mirror's Edge, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. Notable platform-exclusive releases for this week include a Tales of Symphonia sequel on the Wii, Atlus' PS2 strategy title Eternal Poison, and platformer Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts on the Xbox 360. Nintendo DS owners are set to receive a sequel to Pokemon Ranger and a localization of Populous DS this week, while PC gamers prepare for the release of the anticipated World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack. Games Released in Europe:

Gamers in the UK will get an early look at an enhanced PS3 edition of Atari's Alone in the Dark this week, along with the worldwide English-language premiere of the Grasshopper Manufacture-developed Flower, Sun, and Rain for the Nintendo DS. Other UK-exclusive debuts for this week include Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades and Last King of Africa for the DS, Sonic Unleashed for the Wii, and The Lord of the Rings Online expansion pack Mines of Moria on PC platforms. Games Released in Japan:

The PlayStation 3 hosts a new entry in the Acquire-developed Samurai Dou (Way of the Samurai) series this week in Japan. PS3 owners will also see a localization of Sony's Resistance 2, while the Nintendo Wii features a lineup that includes Blob: Colorful na Kibou (de Blob), the Family Ski sequel World Ski & Snowboard, and Milestone's Illvelo Wii. Japanese Nintendo DS offerings this week include a sequel to the successful dungeon crawler Fuurai no Shiren and two editions of the Mega Man Star Force series followup Ryuusei no Rockman 3.
