Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in an exclusively compiled list. This week brings Puzzle Kingdoms and Patapon 2 to portable consoles in North America, while the UK gets Secret Files 2 and Dance Party Club Hits. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending May 9th, 2009. Games Released in the United States: Nintendo Wii: - The Destiny of Zorro - Fantasy Aquarium World - New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat - Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Xbox 360: - Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian PlayStation 3: - Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust Nintendo DS: - Imagine: Music Fest - Jagged Alliance - Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian - Puzzle Kingdoms PlayStation Portable: - Patapon 2 PC: - Crysis: Maximum Edition Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian debuts as this week's sole multiplatform offering in the United States, with ports arriving for the Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii. Wii owners will also get the platform-exclusive action title The Destiny of Zorro and an enhanced remake of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. On portables, PSP owners can expect to see a PlayStation Network download-only sequel to Patapon. The Nintendo DS is set to receive a port of the classic PC turn-based strategy title Jagged Alliance, along with Puzzle Kingdoms, a new fantasy-themed puzzler from the creators of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. Games Released in Europe: Nintendo Wii: - Case Closed: Truth Prevails - Dance Party Club Hits - Dance Party Pop Hits - Pool Hall Pro - Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis - Vertigo Xbox 360: - Velvet Assassin PlayStation 2: - Dance Party Club Hits - Dance Party Pop Hits Nintendo DS: - My Happy Kitchen - Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis PC: - Crysis: Maximum Edition - Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis - Velvet Assassin The UK boasts a number of region-exclusive titles debuting across all platforms this week. Wii owners will soon see the Balance Board-controlled racer Vertigo, billiards simulation Pool Hall Pro, and the adventure title Secret Files 2. The Wii will additionally host a pair of Europe-exclusive dancing sims in Dance Party Club Hits and Pop Hits, both of which are also set to premiere this week on the PlayStation 2. Games Released in Japan: Japan is celebrating Golden Week, during which no new games will be released in the region. Japan's regular release schedule will resume next week.
