Newsbrief: Jon Shiring, an engineer working at Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment, has shone some light on how exactly the Xbox Live Cloud for Xbox One will work, following some confusion online. In a blog post, Shiring explains exactly how Microsoft's dedicated cloud service will work, and how it differs from regular dedicated server systems. "With the Xbox Live Cloud, we don't have to worry about estimating how many servers we'll need on launch day," he notes. "We don't have to find ISPs all over the globe and rent servers from each one. We don't have to maintain the servers or copy new builds to every server." It's worth giving the blog post a read, especially if you aren't 100 percent certain about how Microsoft's cloud plans are unfolding.
