Take-Two Interactive division Rockstar Games, which already owns a number of internal game development studios around the world, has revealed plans to open a new development studio as part of the company's European publishing headquarters London. According to recent job openings displayed on the company's official website and elsewhere, the firm is setting up the internal development studio at its Kings Road address, and will add London to its existing development studios, continuing Rockstar's habit of creating its titles almost solely with in-house developers. No details on initial in-development titles at Rockstar London have been released. The Rockstar London development studio will join a worldwide Rockstar-owned studio system that includes Midnight Club developer Rockstar San Diego, Grand Theft Auto converters Rockstar Vienna, GTA: Liberty City Stories co-creator Rockstar Leeds, GTA originator and Manhunt creator Rockstar North, the Bully-responsible Rockstar Vancouver, and Rockstar Toronto, which recently completed The Warriors.
