Gamasutra's weekly column, "Saling The World", covers the top five sellers for every available platform in the United States, Japan, and Europe, providing an important update of sales patterns worldwide. This week's charts, with data taken from October 14th, 2010, find i>Medal of Honor and Just Dance 2 heading multiplatform sales in the United States, as Keito no Kirby challenges Pokemon Black and White in Japan. Data for "Saling The World" comes courtesy of the public sales information on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and Amazon.co.jp, with sales split out for each platform and territory, and pre-orders disregarded. EA's Medal of Honor premieres as this week's top-selling title across all platforms in the United States, with the Xbox 360 edition proving the most popular. Medal of Honor also sees a big first week in the UK, where the PS3 version has the sales advantage. Ubisoft's Just Dance 2 racks up impressive sales numbers in its premiere week in both regions, while Nintendo's newest Pokemon games continue to rule the charts in Japan. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep retains its spot atop the PSP charts in the United States this week, though PM Studios' rhythm title DJ Max Portable 3 edges in at second place with a recent limited-quantities release. Square Enix's Lord of Arcana trumps former chart leader Eiyuu Densetsu: Zero no Kiseki in Japan, as FIFA 11 and Kingdom Hearts remain the platform's biggest sellers in the UK.
