Samsung App Store Developer Challenge Now Underway

Samsung announced that it is accepting submissions for the inaugural Samsung Application Store Developer Challenge, with a top prize of $100,000 awarded for the winning entry.

Samsung announced that it is accepting submissions for the inaugural Samsung Application Store Developer Challenge, with a top prize of $100,000 awarded for the winning entry. The Developer Challenge encourages innovative ideas and concepts for the company's online mobile application storefront. Contest entries must include a complete game or application "that bucks the trend and delivers a unique experience." The contest is open to anyone registered to sell paid applications at the Samsung Application Store, and is currently accepting entries in eight categories: Games, Entertainment, Health/Life, E-Book, Productivity, Reference, Social networking and Utilities. Submissions must be sent by December 10th. Winning entries, including 36 individual cash prizes and a top award of $100,000, will be chosen by December 17th.
