Electronic Arts announced today its first title for Nintendo DS: The Urbz: Sims in the City. The gamemaker, teaming with Griptonite Games, will develop the game at its Redwood City, Calif., studio. Expected to ship in November, The Urbz will make use of the touch screen features on Nintendo’s handheld device through the use of menus and in-game features. The DS will support a multiplayer version as well. "We're thrilled that this new franchise is the first from Electronic Arts to illustrate the power of the Nintendo DS," said Sinjin Bain, vice president and executive producer, in a press release today.
