Japanese developer/publisher SNK Playmore has revealed the first three Neo-Geo AES games to be released over the Wii virtual console in Japan, with the first game, Garou Densetsu (Fatal Fury) scheduled to debut for the service on September 11. Another Neo Geo fighter, World Heroes, is also expected to be released over the service in Japan next month, alongside the classic action adventure title Magician Lord. All three titles will cost 900 Wii Points each. Nintendo first announced plans to release Neo Geo title over the Wii virtual console in February, though today's news marks the first confirmed titles from the platform making their way to the Wii. While the latest news applies specifically to Japan, SNK Playmore USA president Ben Herman did confirm in April that the company would support the Wii Virtual Console with Neo-Geo AES games in the U.S., stating at the time that that the titles would be “just a little above” the 800 Wii Point ($8) cost of current SNES titles.
