Sony representatives have today confirmed the company’s plans to participate in the upcoming GITEX Computer Shopper Expo, scheduled to begin on 18th October in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The consumer event will include “The Middle East PlayStation Experience” and will allow the public access to PS one and PS2 titles on 150 playable kiosks. The event will also be attended by Nokia and Microsoft – although the company has not confirmed whether it will be showing the Xbox console. Earlier this year, according to Sony’s own figures, the Middle East became the fastest growing video games market in the world.
