<a href="http://www.sony.com">Sony</a> and <a href="http://www.vodafone.com">Vodafone Group</a> have formed an alliance to link cell phones and the Playstation.
Reuters reports that the partnership is designed to research ways to bring games, hints and tips to Vodafone customers. Initially these services will lauch in the UK, and then they will be rolled out throughout Europe and beyond. Vodafone owns 45% of Verizon Wireless in the US. "This is the first building block toward a very exciting, long-term partnership...that we believe will help develop our wireless gaming strategy," Paul Donovan, Managing Director -- Commercial of Vodafone UK Ltd., said in a statement.
