Publisher SouthPeak Interactive (State of Emergency 2) has announced a new publishing agreement with Orbital Media, developer of acclaimed GBA racer Racing Gears Advance, to distribute a pair of the developer's upcoming portable releases. As part of the agreement, SouthPeak will publish Orbital Media's upcoming titles, Juka & The Monophonic Menace for the Game Boy Advance and Scurge: Hive for both the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS. No firm release date for either title was announced. "Partnering with SouthPeak was absolutely the right direction for us to go and we are very excited to join forces with them on our highly anticipated titles," said Steve Shatford, President and CEO of Orbital Media. The news marks SouthPeak's latest publishing deal with an independent development studio. Just prior to last May's E3 event, the company announced a multi-title publishing deal with game and middleware developer Artificial Studios. The first title to be published as part of that agreement will be Artificial Studios’ upcoming action title, Monster Madness.
