TDK Mediactive Reports Big Jump In Revenue, Reiterates Guidance For Year

TDK Mediactive reported financial results for Q2 2003, posting net income of $1.5 million (6 cents per share) on $17 million in revenue -- a 269% increase in revenue over last year.

The company cited the recently released title Robotech: Battlecry for the PS2 and Xbox as its big income driver for the quarter. Looking forward, the comapany reiterated its full-year guidance for fiscal 2003, which ends March 31, 2003. It expects net revenues of approximately $50 million (59% over last year), and an earnings per share of approximately 5 cents. Notable titles coming out in Q3 include Shrek Super Party for the Xbox and PS2, Robotech BattleCry and Shrek Extra Large for the Gamecube; and Shrek Hassle at the Castle and Robotech: The Macross Saga for the GBA.
