Terra 3D, a landscape generation program written for OpenGL now has a new version that includes several new features. This release includes the ability to generate water, and to toggle the effect on and off. It adds a framerate counter in window-mode. This version does not include lighting, which was removed due to performance issues, but upcoming releases are expected to include this feature with improved performance. The multitexturing capabilities have been improved in this version as well, with the ability to toggle it on and off. Terra 3D is a free program, and comes with the complete source code and a Visual C++ workspace.
