Xbox 360 exclusive Forza Motorsport 2 has remained in the number one position for the third week running in the UK sales charts, despite sales falling by 45 percent and close competition from Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Activision's movie tie-in has risen six places to number two, on a sales increase of 70 percent, following the opening of the film in the UK. The rest of the top ten is largely unchanged from the previous week, with most titles merely shuffling a few places up or down. There have been a number of new entries in the rest of the top forty though, with the highest of the week being Activision’s Shrek the Third, which is certain to move into the top ten after the film opens in the UK. Xbox 360 exclusive FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage, a remake of FlatOut 2 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, has enjoyed a promising start at number fourteen. This is the best debut so far for the series in the UK, which has previously always underperformed at retail despite positive critical review. 505 Games’ next generation Japanese import Armored Core 4 has entered that charts at number thirty-nine, while Wario Ware: Smooth on the Wii re-enters at number thirty-three and the new Wii version of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon sees that title re-enter the charts at number forty.
