Toon Boom Releases Toon Boom Studio 2

Toon Boom Technologies has released Toon Boom Studio 2, the latest version of the company's 2D animation tool for the web. TBS 2 enhancements include an exposure sheet, a timeline, a rotating light table, peg, drawing and painting tools. When doing lip-synch, you can establish what mouth shapes apply to specific sounds, and the software will place them automatically in the right frames -- analyze dialog tracks in any language and automatically generate a mouth chart. The product is priced at $374, with discounts for upgrades or electronically distributed versions.
