Every week, sister iPhone site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Tiger Woods PGA Tour, Need for Speed Shift, and other EA-published titles leading iPhone sales, as Gameloft's GT Racing: Motor Academy HD debuts as today's top iPad seller. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are: 1. Angry Birds ($0.99) 2. Tiger Woods PGA Tour ($0.99) 3. Need for Speed Shift ($0.99) 4. Need for Speed Undercover ($0.99) 5. FIFA World Cup ($2.99) 6. The Game of Life: Classic Edition ($0.99) 7. Tetris ($2.99) 8. Doodle Jump ($0.99) 9. Bejeweled 2 ($2.99) 10. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within ($9.99) Several Electronic Arts-published titles are featured among today's top sellers, thanks to an ongoing sale that drops the price of many of the company's popular iPhone and iPod Touch games. EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour, Need for Speed Shift, FIFA World Cup, Need for Speed Undercover, Tetris, and The Game of Life figure among today's biggest App Store sellers. Clickgamer's Angry Birds earns the top overall chart spot, as PopCap's Bejeweled 2 and Gameloft's debuting iPhone port of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within close out the sales rankings at ninth and tenth. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad applications: 1. GT Racing: Motor Academy HD ($9.99) 2. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 3. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($9.99) 4. I Dig It HD ($9.99) 5. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 6. GodFinger (Free) 7. Zombie Farm (Free) 8. Isaac Newton's Gravity HD ($9.99) 9. Fishies by PlayMesh (Free) 10. Pinball HD ($2.99) Gameloft's recently released sim-styled racer GT Racing: Motor Academy HD claims today's top sales spot in the iPad's Games category, pushing last week's chart champions Scrabble and Plants vs. Zombies to second and third place. InMotion Software's mining action title I Dig It HD also sees big first-week sales, outpacing microtransaction-supported favorites GodFinger, Fishies, and Zombie Farm in daily App Store revenue.
