Every week, sister iPhone and iPad site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad game applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Infinity Blade and Bloons TD 4 leading iPhone sales, while Monopoly and SimCity Deluxe emerge as top sellers on the iPad. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone and iPod Touch titles are: 1. Infinity Blade ($5.99) 2. Angry Birds ($0.99) 3. Smurfs' Village (Free) 4. Angry Birds Seasons ($0.99) 5. Bloons TD 4 ($2.99) 6. Dungeon Hunter 2 ($6.99) 7. Cut the Rope ($0.99) 8. World War (Free) 9. Tap Zoo: Christmas (Free) 10. Texas Poker (Free) Epic Games' Infinity Blade leads as the App Store's highest-grossing iPhone game in its second week of release, leading over strong chart performers like Rovio's Angry Birds and Capcom's microtransaction-supported Smurfs' Village. Digital Goldfish's tower defense game Bloons TD 4 makes its chart debut at fifth place this week, edging out Gameloft's recently released action-RPG Dungeon Hunter 2. Chillingo's Cut the Rope continues to rack up impressive sales at seventh place, as the free-to-play hits World War, Tap Zoo: Christmas, and Texas Poker close out today's rankings. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad applications: 1. Infinity Blade ($5.99) 2. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 3. Monopoly for iPad ($9.99) 4. SimCity Deluxe for iPad ($6.99) 5. Smurfs' Village (Free) 6. Angry Birds Seasons HD ($1.99) 7. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 8. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit for iPad ($9.99) 9. Jenga HD ($4.99) 10. Drawn: The Painted Tower HD ($9.99) Epic's Infinity Blade also emerges as the iPad's top seller this week, as the game's optimization for high-end iOS devices like the iPhone 4 and the fourth-generation iPod Touch continues to drive weekly sales. EA claims three chart spots with recently released iPad versions of Monopoly, SimCity Deluxe, and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, meanwhile, as NaturalMotion's Jenga HD leads over Big Fish Games' debuting puzzler Drawn: The Painted Tower HD at ninth place.
