Every week, sister iPhone and iPad site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see EA's Madden NFL 10 leading on both the iPhone and the iPad, as Carnival Games and Chaos Rings for iPad debut as popular sellers. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are: 1. Madden NFL 11 ($7.99) 2. Angry Birds ($0.99) 3. Fragger ($0.99) 4. Bejeweled 2 + Blitz ($2.99) 5. Tetris ($2.99) 6. Plants vs. Zombies ($2.99) 7. Doodle Jump ($0.99) 8. Scrabble ($2.99) 9. The Sims 3 ($6.99) 10. Carnival Games for iPhone ($3.99) EA's Madden NFL 11 takes the top spot among today's highest-grossing iPhone games, unseating Clickgamer's longtime chart leader Angry Birds. Miniclip's Fragger climbs up to third place following a recent rise in popularity, as Bejeweled 2 leads over Tetris at fourth place. Hemisphere's Osmos drops out of the top ten after a promising second-place showing last week, while 2K's Wii-ported minigame compilation Carnival Games ranks behind Scrabble and The Sims 3 at tenth place in its debut week. Here are this weeki¿½s top-grossing iPad applications: 1. Madden NFL 11 for iPad ($12.99) 2. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 3. City Story (Free) 4. Chaos Rings for iPad ($15.99) 5.
