Every week, sister iPhone site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see EA's Tetris edging out Splinter Cell: Conviction, as Civilization Revolution competes with Scrabble and Real Racing HD in iPad sales. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Angry Birds ($0.99) 2. Tetris ($2.99) 3. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction ($9.99) 4. Bejeweled 2 ($2.99) 5. Fruit Ninja ($0.99) 6. Battleship ($0.99) 7. The Sims 3 ($4.99) 8. Scrabble ($2.99) 9. Plants vs. Zombies ($2.99) 10. World War v2.0 (Free) This week's chart features a number of Electronic Arts-published titles, thanks to a recent round of price drops. EA's Tetris, Battleship, The Sims 3, and Scrabble rank among today's top-grossing titles, while Clickgamer's Angry Birds remains the App Store's biggest overall seller across all categories. Gameloft's iPhone adaptation of Splinter Cell: Conviction finishes its debut week at third place, beating out PopCap's Bejeweled 2. Halfbrick's 99-cent action title Fruit Ninja enters the chart at fifth, as Storm8's free-to-play MMO World War v2.0 claims tenth place in its first week of release. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad applications: 1. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 2. Real Racing HD ($9.99) 3. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($9.99) 4. Civilization Revolution for iPad ($12.99) 5. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 6. Flight Control HD ($4.99) 7. Pinball HD ($2.99) 8. Need for Speed Shift for iPad ($12.99) 9. TowerMadness HD ($7.99) 10. Boggle for iPad ($4.99) Last week's top iPad seller Hotel Mogul HD has since dropped out of chart range, as EA's Scrabble reclaims the top spot. Firemint's Real Racing HD and Plants vs. Zombies HD follow at second and third place, while 2K's iPad version of Civilization Revolution takes fourth after a recent update. Angry Birds HD and Flight Control HD remain strong sellers from week to week, as Need for Speed Shift leads over TowerMadness HD and Boggle for iPad.
