Every week, sister iPhone and iPad site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Tiny Wings and Battleheart earning top iPhone sales, while Smurfs' Village and Lil' Pirates emerge as big sellers on the iPad. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are: 1. Tiny Wings ($0.99) 2. Angry Birds ($0.99) 3. Tap Zoo (Free) 4. Smurfs' Village (Free) 5. Zombie Farm (Free) 6. Words With Friends ($2.99) 7. Battleheart ($2.99) 8. Texas Poker (Free) 9. Call of Duty: Zombies ($4.99) 10. Zynga Poker (Free) After premiering at ninth place in last week's chart, Andreas Illiger's hit autoscrolling platformer Tiny Wings captures the top spot in today's results, overtaking former iPhone sales leaders Angry Birds and Tap Zoo. Smurfs' Village and Zombie Farm continue to generate enough microtransaction revenue to stay in the top ten, meanwhile, as a pair of free-to-play poker titles from Pokerist and Zynga rival chart mainstays like Call of Duty: Zombies and Words With Friends. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad applications: 1. Smurfs' Village (Free) 2. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 3. Lil' Pirates (Free) 4. 德州撲克 HD (Free) 5. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 6. Fruit Ninja HD ($2.99) 7. Texas Poker (Free) 8. Paradise Island HD (Free) 9. PuppetShow: The Mystery of Joyville HD (Free) 10. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($6.99) A Chinese-language free-to-play poker game ranks among this week's top-grossing iPad apps, despite its recent debut and a low number of customer reviews. The title likely earned its spot with a sudden influx of microtransaction purchases, putting it in range of Capcom's reigning chart champ Smurfs' Village and Angry Birds HD. Capcom earns another spot in today's chart with its recently updated social RPG Lil' Pirates, while Scrabble for iPad and Fruit Ninja HD remain strong sellers at fifth and sixth place.
