Every week, sister iPhone and iPad site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad games, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Tiny Wings and Tap Zoo earning top iPhone sales, while PuppetShow and Trade Nations emerge as big sellers on the iPad. These charts allow readers to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 selling games chart, which is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone and iPod Touch titles are: 1. Angry Birds ($0.99) 2. Tap Zoo (Free) 3. NBA Jam ($4.99) 4. Call of Duty: Zombies ($4.99) 5. Zynga Poker (Free) 6. Smurfs' Village (Free) 7. Words With Friends ($2.99) 8. Zombie Farm (Free) 9. Tiny Wings ($0.99) 10. Fruit Ninja ($0.99) While Angry Birds continues to lead as the iPhone's top revenue earner, Rovio's game faces new competition from Tiny Wings, an independently developed autoscrolling platformer released earlier this week. Tiny Wings takes ninth place in today's rankings -- an impressive debut for a 99-cent newcomer competing with big names like Fruit Ninja and Call of Duty: Zombies. EA's NBA Jam remains a steady seller at third place, meanwhile, as microtransaction-supported free titles like Tap Zoo, Zynga Poker, and Smurfs' Village capture several spots in today's chart. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad games: 1. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 2. Smurfs' Village (Free) 3. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 4. PuppetShow: The Mystery of Joyville HD (Free) 5. Trade Nations (Free) 6. Fruit Ninja HD ($2.99) 7. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($6.99) 8. Texas Poker (Free) 9. Restaurant Story (Free) 10. Cut the Rope HD ($1.99) Angry Birds HD, Smurfs' Village, and Scrabble remain the top three earners in the iPad's "Games" category for the second week in a row. Big Fish's in-app purchase-supported hidden object game PuppetShow takes fourth place in its premiere week, as Amplified Games' Trade Nations finishes fifth. Other top earners in today's chart include PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies HD, TeamLava's free-to-play Restaurant Story, and Chillingo's Cut the Rope HD.
