Apple's latest U.S. App Store game charts by revenue see Smurfs' Village and Zombie Farm earning top iPhone sales, while Angry Birds Seasons HD emerges as a big seller on the iPad.

Every week, sister iOS site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad games, as current that day in the U.S. iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Smurfs' Village and Zombie Farm earning top iPhone and iPod Touch sales, while Angry Birds Seasons HD and Last Temple HD emerge as big sellers on the iPad. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 game sales chart, which is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone and iPod Touch games are: 1. Angry Birds ($0.99) 2. Smurfs' Village (Free) 3. Zombie Farm (Free) 4. Tap Zoo (Free) 5. Call of Duty: Zombies ($4.99) 6. Angry Birds Seasons ($0.99) 7. Fruit Ninja ($0.99) 8. Bop It! ($2.99) 9. Zombie Cafe (Free) 10. Dead Space ($6.99) A Valentine's Day-themed update puts Capcom's Smurfs' Village behind Rovio's reigning Angry Birds at second place in today's iPhone charts. Playforge's Zombie Farm also reports a boost in microtransaction revenue this week, overtaking Pocket Gems' Tap Zoo for third place. EA's Dead Space falls to tenth place after finishing third in last week's charts, meanwhile, as the company's recently launched iOS adaptation of Bop It! manages to claim eighth place in its debut week. Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad games: 1. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 2. Angry Birds Seasons HD ($1.99) 3. Cut the Rope HD ($1.99) 4. Last Temple HD ($1.99) 5. Fruit Ninja HD ($2.99) 6. Battleheart ($2.99) 7. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 8. Reckless Racing HD ($0.99) 9. Dead Space for iPad ($9.99) 10. Pictureka! for iPad ($0.99) Angry Birds Seasons HD returns to the iPad's top ten following the recent addition of Valentine's Day content. The core Angry Birds HD app continues to lead overall sales, as newcomer Last Temple HD from Ganymede rivals Chillingo's Cut the Rope HD at fourth place. EA's Reckless Racing HD and Pictureka! return to the iPad charts after being discounted to 99 cents each, while Dead Space sees a significant drop in popularity, landing at ninth place after taking second last week.
