[Sister site FingerGaming rounds up the week's most popular paid and free iPad gaming applications on the App Store as of today, with Angry Birds HD making a run at leader Pinball HD on the paid charts.] Every week, FingerGaming rounds up the most popular paid and free iPad applications, as current that day on the iTunes App Store. This week’s top paid titles are:

Gameprom's Pinball HD holds on to the top spot after leading last week's charts, while Clickgamer's Angry Birds HD moves up from fifth place to take second in today's results. Real Racing HD, Plants vs. Zombies HD, and Flight Control HD remain big sellers, as Brothers in Arms 2, Shanghai Mahjong, and Asphalt 5 HD enter the chart behind Words With Friends HD. Here are this week's top free iPad applications:

Nimblebit's Dizzypad HD leads as the iPad's most-downloaded free game for the second week in a row, edging out chart newcomer 10 Pin Shuffle HD Lite. AppMania's Demolition Master HD Free sees a drop in popularity this week, while The Solitaire, Labyrinth 2 HD Lite, and GodFinger move up the rankings. Harbor Master HD returns to the top ten at eighth place, leaving Tap Tap Radiation and Checkers Free HD at ninth and tenth.
