[Sister site FingerGaming rounds up the week's most popular paid and free iPad gaming applications on the App Store as of today, with Dizzypad HD hitting the top of the free charts and Pinball HD again dominating paid games.] Looking to Apple's App Store for this week, here's the top U.S.-based iPad game-related applications in the Paid category. Pinball HD, Real Racing HD, and Scrabble continue to lead iPad game sales overall in the App Store, with a remarkably stable set of titles continuing chart domination as the hardware's installed base grows. Angry Birds HD moves up a spot to overtake Flight Control HD, as Iron Man 2 drops out of the top ten to make way for the returning Battle for Wesnoth HD:

As for this week's top free iPad applications in the U.S., NimbleBit's recently released HD version of Dizzypad tops the free iPad game charts, with AppMania's Demolition Master HD overtaking last week's chart champion The Solitaire for second place. The demo version of Illusion Labs' Labyrinth 2 HD remains a popular download at fourth place, meanwhile, as the free air hockey sim 1on1 Hockey beats out ngmoco's free to play title GodFinger for fifth place:
