[Sister site FingerGaming rounds up the week's most popular paid and free iPad gaming applications on the App Store as of today, with Infinity Blade, Can Knockdown 2 and Bowmaster HD currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.] This week's top paid titles are: 1. Infinity Blade ($2.99) 2. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 3. Can Knockdown 2 ($0.99) 4. Cut the Rope HD ($1.99) 5. Fruit Ninja HD ($0.99) 6. Angry Birds Seasons HD ($1.99) 7. Words With Friends HD ($2.99) 8. F-SIM Space Shuttle ($0.99) 9. Battleheart ($2.99) 10. Holes and Balls: The Challenge ($0.99) Chair Entertainment's Unreal Engine-powered Infinity Blade leads as this week's biggest-selling iPad app, following a recent content-expanding update and a drop in price to 99 cents. Infinite Dreams' recently released Can Knockdown 2 rivals Rovio's Angry Birds HD at third place, while Sascha Ledinsky's flight simulator F-SIM Space Shuttle and AudioGuidia's tilt puzzler Holes and Balls enter the charts at eighth and tenth place. Here are this week's top free iPad applications: 1. Bowmaster HD 2. The Syndicate! HD 3. Angry Birds HD Free 4. Paper Toss World Tour HD 5. WackaMonsta 6. VIP Poker 7. Mad Skills Motocross 8. Angry Birds Seasons HD Free A trial version of iOccam's Bowmaster HD captures the top spot in today's free iPad game charts, followed closely by Game Insight's free-to-play business simulation The Syndicate! HD at second place. Backflip Studios earns fourth place in this week's results with Paper Toss World Tour HD, which was recently retooled as a free ad-supported app. DanLabGames' WackaMonsta remains a popular pick at fifth place, while Capcom's multiplayer RPG Lil' Pirates makes its chart debut at ninth.
