Ubisoft has announced Prince of Persia: The Fallen King, a new Nintendo DS exclusive version of the game from its recently expanded Casablanca studio that it says will complement the forthcoming PC and console versions coming this holiday season. The company says the game will expand the storyline of the console versions as the Prince "flees to a deserted kingdom that seemingly offers sanctuary" and makes an alliance with the Magus, a creature particularly affected by the "spreading Corruption destroying the land." Ubisoft promises to make full use of the unique stylus controls to deliver "extraordinary acrobatic and combat action" and will mirror the series' new art direction. Players will also be able to switch between playing as the Prince and the Magus, "to fight, solve puzzles and utilize his magical powers to make your way through the corrupted land." Ubisoft announced in May that its Casablanca studio would be expanded with a new Ubisoft Campus facility, where it will offer training in programming, 3D animation and modeling, game and level design to project management.
