Unplugged Games, a developer of wireless multi-user communications and collaboration platforms including wireless game publishing for internet-enabled cellular telephones, PDA’s and other wireless devices, has announced the release of Mobile Stage 1.0 and the Mobile Stage Game Development Kit (GDK). Mobile Stage is a technology platform that allows developers to create multiplayer interactive content, such as massive multiplayer games and other entertainment, and provides wireless carriers with the means to track usage, place data usage on the phone bill, and provide back end customer support. Mobile Stage has the capability of supporting 100,000 simultaneous users per game, and is device and protocol independent providing users with the ability to connect anytime, anywhere using any device.
