Metrics company Media Monitors, LLC has provided Gamasutra with its Spot Ten radio advertising charts for North America for video games, ranking the game companies that spent the most money advertising their games on the radio. Interestingly, the largest gaming account on the radio from November 28th to December 4th, according to Media Monitors, was Sony's SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs, followed by Nintendo's Mario Kart DS, and Sony's PlayStation Portable in general. Activision spent enough to get three accounts in the top ten: Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, Gun, and a third un-named game. Ubisoft also had an interesting couple of entries, with GBA petsploitation title Dogz at #5 getting a slightly heavier promotional push than the multiplatform Peter Jackson's King Kong at #8. Finally, the A.C.E.S. Flight Simulation company promoted its namesake title heavily enough to reach #4, and Imagination Licensing got Family Feud Survey Says, an interactive DVD game, to #9. Gamasutra intends to update its readers with the latest version of this chart whenever Media Monitors issues updates, though this is not currently expected to be weekly.
