The whole violence in video games debate has always been silly in my mind. I've tried writing this article a few times, but I always get lazy. I think this time I'm just gonna list points. As I don't really care for this debate...

1. Video games are great at teaching you life and death. While we obviously take more risks in video games, at least we'll be prepared irl by knowing our many options. The world is CRAZY.

2. If you play video games, you're more than likely to be the, "Hero Type", irl. You're almost always the hero in single player games. The lesser of two evils. You go around helping others. You help your team...

3. You're able to release your own anger in video games.

4. The longer you've played video games, the more immune you are to violence. Kill or be killed, that's a scary thought. Let's not go out and kill, to begin with.

5. Variety. Not all video games have you kill kill kill. Life is all about variety. The more variety, the less likely you are to be so deeply involved with violence.

6. The world has always been crazy. You still need your parents/family/friends to teach you that violence isn't the path to take. But you still learn from stories, movies, music, video games, whatever.
