Representatives of Scottish developer VIS Entertainment have announced the company will be producing a sequel to the critically mauled, but commercially successful, State of Emergency. Interestingly the company is financing the venture by creating a new special-function company. Backed by numerous shareholders the separate company will essentially act as a project funder, bridging the gap between development and a publishing deal.
