Vivendi is hoping to tap into the 'Mature' games market with the opeing of a new internal studio, Black Label Games. Black Label will produce games based on intellectual property from the Vivendi Universal media family as well as properties licensed from outside the company, with all of the titles aimed squarely at Teen and Mature ESRB ratings. The first properties getting the Black Label treatment are the horror classic The Thing and the book series Lord of the Rings.
