At Oculus Connect today in Hollywood, Samsung Mobile SVP Peter Koo unveiled a new Samsung VR headset that will cost $99 when it launches in November this year.

The Gear VR is from a partnership between the Facebook-owned VR company Oculus and hardware maker Samsung. Samsung is pitching the new Gear VR as a low-cost VR solution for the masses. The previous version of Gear VR cost $199.

The Gear VR requires a mobile phone to be slipped into the headset. The new Gear VR will be compatible with Samsung’s new line of mobile phones, including the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6, and Galaxy S6 Edge.

Koo added that the Gear VR is significantly lighter than the previous version.
