Microsoft has announced that the next regular Xbox Live Arcade update will see the addition of both Roogoo, the action puzzler from Grapevine, TX-based Spidermonk Entertainment and retro arcade space shooter Aces of the Galaxy, from publisher Sierra Online. Originally scheduled for release in April on PC and Xbox Live Arcade, Roogoo will task players with "guiding meteors in the form of shaped blocks though a series of rotating disks as a means of saving planet Roo and the entire Roogoo race. If aligned correctly, the disks allow the blocks to reach the ground and scores are awarded." Southpeak says the Xbox Live Arcade version of Roogoo will offer both single player and multiplayer (up to four) modes, as well as various achievements and leadership boards to view highest available scores among other competitive players. Microsoft says space shooter Aces of the Galaxy will task players with saving the universe from "the wicked Skurgian Empire" with "an impressive arsenal of upgradeable weapons including high-powered missile launchers, devastating torpedoes and the relentless chain gun," playable both solo or with friends over Xbox Live. Both games will be available on Xbox Live Arcade June 4th at pricepoints of 800 Microsoft Points ($10) each.
