COPENHAGEN, Denmark – October 10, 2024 – Indie developer Pebbles Games is pleased to share Potion Shop Simulator’s participation in the upcoming October Steam Next Fest 2024. Starting now and up through Steam Next Fest, eager potion masters can get a taste of what it’s like to run your very own potion shop in the game’s demo.
Opportunity Awaits
Simulation and management come together in Potion Shop Simulator as you set out to start your budding potion enterprise. A recent graduate from Wizard U, your job search leads you to the outskirts of the kingdom, where you find a shop you can call your very own. Tend to your plants, brew potions, and manage your magical shop while you serve your town’s fiendish folk and become integral to the community.
Rise and Grind
It’s time to get to work in Potion Shop Simulator as your doors open for the first day of business. Gather flowers and herbs to stock up on potions and discover new recipes. Build up your reputation to expand your shop and welcome new customers looking for harder-to-find potions. Between managing your store, explore the town and visit other shops for upgrades, help your fellow residents by completing side quests, and prepare for world events like the open-air market and potion shop inspector. Tag team with friends in multiplayer co-op, dividing and conquering your tasks to keep the business running.
Try Now - Demo Features
Keen players can get a sample of what Potion Shop Simulator will offer through the game’s demo. Available now on Steam, the demo introduces players to the game by guiding them through the tutorial. Players can continue playing the game after completing the tutorial, but certain features will be locked. Tim the Dragon, the game’s tutorial mascot, introduces players to the basics of alchemy: harvesting plants, transforming ingredients, brewing potions, and running the shop. Dry Meadlowlark and Firebloom plants to experiment with different combinations, adding potions to your archive as you discover new ones. Stock your shelves with these creations and use your earnings to purchase decorations for the shop, increasing your storefront’s appeal and attracting new clientele. The game’s demo will also include multiplayer, so invite your friends to accompany your potion shop apprenticeship!
Gameplay Features:
A colorful medieval fantasy setting creates the perfect ambiance for potion-making, and an interactive world provides an immersive simulator experience.
Co-op mode for up to four players lets your friends join in on the fun! Tour the village, take care of plants, and experiment with different brews alongside your fellow alchemists.
The world is alive with dynamic events, featuring a day and night cycle that brings market days in town, a traveling merchant, market trends, royal commissions from the king, and more. Keep an eye on your calendar so you don’t miss a thing.
Improve your reputation by making and selling potions, and generate income to upgrade your shop's aesthetics and efficiency. You can purchase additional items at the markets, from the traveling salesman, or at small shops downtown.
The discovery of new potions awaits, so experiment to progress through the game. The more you brew, the more you sell! So, get adventurous with your potion combinations.
