Warsaw, Poland – October 21st, 2024 — The fight for survival in the never-ending winter of Frostpunk 2 continues to evolve for the New Londoners. After five hotfixes, 11 bit studios' sequel to their flagship IP receives yet another significant upgrade with patch 1.1.0 named “Quality of Life Improvements”.
This update brings, alongside many smaller changes, various UI/UX improvements and tweaks to the society system. For example, the frostbreaking process can now be completed on any number of cells (up to eight), and constructions can be canceled. New edge scrolling, cursor lock and camera responsiveness control settings have been added, and fresh consequences await—for instance, for repeatedly broken promises or leaving the Generator off too long while having fuel. And a cherry on the pie—large-scale optimizations of the entire game, aimed towards smoothing performance. With many changes coming directly from community feedback, with 11 bit studios excited to continue improving the game alongside its dedicated players.
In addition, 11 bit studios is showing some love to its critically-acclaimed arthouse adventure, INDIKA, with a new patch introducing Photo Mode to the PC version (Steam/GOG) of the game. This allows players to capture moments of their spiritual journey—and who knows, maybe you’ll even snap a picture of the devil himself?
For those who haven’t yet taken the reins of a frozen city in Frostpunk 2 (10% off), or let the devil challenge their faith in INDIKA (20% off), now might be the perfect time. Both games are on sale on Steam from October 21st to November 4th.
During this period, 11 bit studios have also rolled out all-time-low discounts on The Thaumaturge (40% off), a Warsaw-set RPG, and Creatures of Ava (20% off), a wholesome game about life preservation. Other highlights include The Invincible (34% off), Children of Morta (70% off), Moonlighter (75% off), South of the Circle (50% off) as well as in-house originals - This War of Mine (80% off) and the first Frostpunk (85% off).
