STOCKHOLM - Nov. 6, 2024 - Paradox Interactive, a publisher of games you’ll never discard, today released Across the Obelisk, the cooperative deck-building game from Dreamsite Games, on the PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. Across the Obelisk, along with all DLC released for the game thus far, is available on PC and consoles with full cross-platform multiplayer between all platforms, allowing players everywhere to enjoy its unique party-based RPG mechanics. The game is available via digital storefronts for a suggested retail price of $24.99/£21.99/€24.99.
Across the Obelisk is a dynamic rogue-lite game with a unique multiplayer spin on the classic deck-building experience. The game challenges players to create a party from a diverse set of characters, engage in tactical card-based combat, and find a unique path across a world that changes in reaction to their decisions. Playable alone or with up to three friends, Across the Obelisk provides a different experience with each playthrough thanks to its branching world paths, highly customizable heroes, hundreds of different cards with variable upgrades, and much more.
With the game now available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S, cross-platform multiplayer in Across the Obelisk now allows for a four-player party to have each player joining from a different platform. In addition, the game’s DLC-sharing options allow for groups to experience any content owned by any member of the party: expansion characters can join any group regardless of whether other players have purchased those characters, and groups can visit any expansion maps purchased by anybody in the party. All DLC released for Across the Obelisk since its initial release on PC are available today across all platforms.
Across the Obelisk can be purchased individually or as part of the Starter Set bundle, which includes the base game, the player-favorite Sands of Ulminin expansion, and the added hero expansion Amelia, the Queen for a suggested retail price of $37.50/£32.25/€37.50.
