The State of Development
New content – Player actions
The player actions system has been fully implemented with a first pass for all animations. Players will get a visual representation of each action (idle, aiming, shooting, reloading etc.). Additionally the player will be able to check the amount of ammo left for each weapon by performing the “Ammo Check” animation (see video below)
New content – Shotgun
As an extra weapon in the game we’ve added a triple barrel shotgun. It can be found during the game at the Police Station.
New content – Steam Achievements
Fully implemented Steam achievements with a variety of hidden tasks some of which are optional and might require further research in Westwood.
“Controller Support” Added
The game is now playable with a PC compatible controller.

About Westwood Shadows
Westwood Shadows is a first-person, survival horror game with puzzles. Peter Bennet, a police detective, is dragged into a surreal, terrifying, and emotional journey through his abandoned hometown. The Prologue of Westwood Shadows was released on Steam and is currently rated 87% as Very Positive, by the players.

About Redsoup Studio
RedSoup studio was founded in 2019 by 2 people and in 2021 it expanded to 5 members with several extra outsource collaborations. Currently the core of the studio is located in Cyprus and soon will expand with more members as the first game Westwood Shadows is reaching the end of the production.
