2 September 2011, Singapore and Malaysia – Asiasoft Online ("Asiasoft") today announced AIKASEA (http://www.AIKASEA.com) has been honored by the inaugural Asia Online Game Awards (AOGA) with the award of Singapore’s Most Popular Game. Also announced is the launch of the inaugural AIKA Premier League (APL) and Level 70 Update due to be launched on 8th September 2011.
Held at TVB City in Kowloon, Hong Kong on 2August 2011, the first Asia Online Game Awards (AOGA) Presentation Ceremony is organized by the Hong Kong Game Industry Association and produced by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB). AOGA is also co-organized by the Game Publication Committee of the Publishers Association of China, and the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Industry Support Centre (HKDEISC) of Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). Sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSAR Government), the cross-regional event aims to promote and recognize the best in Asia online gaming industry.
“It’s a great honor to be part of the Asia Online Game Awards, and even more so to have AIKASEA recognized as Singapore’s Most Popular Online Game,” said Kenny Goh, Deputy Managing Director of Asiasoft Online who received the award at the ceremony. “We would like to thank all the players in the community who have supported us since the launch of the game early this year, and we would like to dedicate this award to them.”
In September, AIKASEA will be launching a series of tournaments entitled the AIKA Pro Gamers Tour to allow all Elters to fulfill their dreams of bringing glory and honor to their individual team and nation. The first in a series of premier tournaments, Season 1 of the AIKA Pro Gamers Tour will begin with the inaugural AIKA Premier League (APL) on 25th September 2011, with a total of 25 teams battling it out to be the top two teams from their respective nations, so as to qualify for the prestigious AIKA Champions League (ACL).
In the AIKA Champions League, apart from the exciting battles and rewards awaiting all Elters, the top two teams will also be invited to participate in the season finale, the AIKA All Stars Championship Grand Finals where they stand to walk away with attractive cash prizes, AIKA premiums and gaming peripherals.
Registration for Season 1 starts 26th August and ends on 20th September 2011. Interested Elters can form a team of 6 (consisting of 5 members and 1 substitute) from the same nation and register now. More information including fixtures, results, battle highlights and team interviews from Season 1 of the AIKA Pro Gamers Tour will be available on www.AIKASEA.com.
In addition to the intensive battle action to expect in the upcoming tournaments, AIKASEA will also be introducing a previously unexplored area, new level caps, tougher monsters and must-have items and equipments to all Elters.
Known as “Termes”, this new map will be made accessible through the forest of Ungor and Lump of Ashwood. In this map also lies the “Tower of Giovanni”, where you will find the ancient Labyrinth – Prison Despero, home to more powerful monsters that can easily cripple and destroy the most powerful Elters. However, many attractive rewards are also available to those who can survive and fight their way through the army of monsters for the final showdown with Queen Azu.
Apart from new level caps of 70, what Elters are most excited about are the new and awesome equipment available, ranging from the Level 64 Normal and Superior Equipments to Level 65 Honor Equipments and Unique Sets. They will also receive two new active skills at level 61 and level 69 respectively, and one new passive skill at level 65 in this 4th tier. Last but not least, players will also receive 12 status points upon reaching level 61, with 2 additional skill points for each level of advancement.
